Mr. Houston is an award-winning singer, songwriter, producer, actor, entrepreneur, and
entertainer whose music bridges generations through soulful storytelling, authentic
artistry, and timeless performances.
A gifted vocalist, pianist, guitarist, composer, arranger, and producer, he has written
more than 400 songs and jingles throughout his career. His work has led to
performances and collaborations with legendary artists including Al Green, Stevie
Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown, Gerald Albright, Alex
Bugnon, Kirk Whalum, and the Grammy-winning vocal group Take 6. Most recently, Mr.
Houston has opened for and shared the stage with acclaimed R&B artist Raheem
DeVaughn, guitar virtuoso Jubu Smith, and R&B sensation Ro James.
Early in his career, Mr. Houston was selected from more than 800 national entries to
receive the prestigious Sony Innovators Award, recognizing his exceptional vocal and
songwriting abilities. His creative talents have also extended into television production,
including work on the Debra Duncan Show for ABC 13 KTRK in Houston, Texas.
In addition to his music and production work, Mr. Houston is a familiar television
personality, making regular appearances on FOX 26 Houston’s The Isiah Factor
Uncensored and Chattin’ with Chelsea on the FOX Soul Network.
In 2026, Mr. Houston captured national attention with the release of his Southern Soul
hit, “Good Thang.” The song generated hundreds of thousands of streams, views,
shares, and user-created videos while sparking viral engagement across TikTok and
YouTube. Its success introduced his music to a new generation of listeners and further
established him as a rising force in the Southern Soul and Country Soul genres.
Building on that momentum, Mr. Houston’s upcoming releases include “Stay A Lil’

Longer,” a Southern Soul Country single; “Go Go Mr. Houston,” a New Orleans-
inspired dance anthem; and “You 4 Christmas,” a soulful holiday release.

Beyond music, Mr. Houston continues to expand his presence in film. He recently
appeared as a Supporting Lead Actor in the independent motion picture Jacob, Broken
by God, where several of his original songs were featured on the film’s soundtrack.
He is scheduled to appear as a Supporting Male Lead in the upcoming film Rising
From Broken, which will feature his songs “Good Thang,” “He Couldn’t (But I
Can),” and the film’s title track, “Still Rising.”

Singer of the legendary band formerly known as The Gap Band, bringing his voice and
